Company History
Grand Placement & General Services Corporation (GPGSC) was established in the year 1983 by
its enterprising management who are fully aware of the typical Filipino’s needs
for a more decent paying job. Keeping in mind the mission to provide more
employment opportunities, GPGSC are constantly on the lookout for ways and
means to further materialize the goal of sourcing more jobs for the Filipino
workers.
The industrialization of countries overseas brought about
the increasing demand for highly skilled and technical workers. By creating a
vehicle to deploy Filipino workers, the management believed this to be the best
opportunity to channel the Filipino workers’ capabilities and talents to
different parts of the world.
Since GPGSC’s early beginnings, the management believed in a
hands-on approach in going about the business. Handling and managing all
aspects of the agency, the GPGSC staff boasts of having first-rate training and
guidance under the tutelage of their employers

GPGSC's lifelong commitment as reflected upon the management’s high sense of
quality. Notwithstanding client satisfaction, GPGSC, from its humble
beginnings, has lived up to its standards of smooth, fast and efficient
recruitment, processing and deployment procedures.
A vision for world class excellence with a commitment to
serve: this is the corporate mission in which GPGSC abides to. To achieve this
feat, GPGSC underwent the rigid International Organization for Standardization
(ISO) accreditation process and in November of 2000, the company has fully
complied with and was certified with an ISO 9002:1994 Standard by BVQI. To
date, GPGSC has already achieved a much defined quality system, the ISO
9001:2000 Standard, which the company has attained in the year 2003, a
pioneering distinction in the land based recruitment industry.
To serve beyond the walls of the company in difficult
moments is also a manifestation of GPGSC’s humanitarian concern for the
Filipinos who are in need of assistance. Medical aid from the company’s
recruitment team and mobile medical clinic were rendered to victims of the 1990
earthquake that hit Northern Luzon and of the immensely destructive 1991
volcanic eruption of Mt. Pinatubo. Furthermore, torn parts of Mindanao ravaged
by war were also given support by GPGSC by giving priorities to and deploying
qualified residents for employment overseas to enable them to get back on their
feet and start their lives anew.
From an initial staff of 4, GPGSC has steadily grown to
become one of the top land based agencies in the country deploying overseas
Filipinos to different parts of the world. From a single unit office area,
GPGSC now has its own office building equipped with complete amenities to suit
the needs of our foreign principals and applicants: ample space for employer’s
interview area, seminar room, conference room, and sufficient parking spaces,
located at the center of the recruitment district of Manila.
